Limited (SOPM), an ISO 9001 certified company, has recently
been awarded ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
and Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS)
18001 certification by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance
Agency (HKQAA). Its senior management is committed to
providing all necessary resources, including staff training,
to support the implementation and continuous improvement
of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 systems with
an eventual aim to achieve total customer satisfaction. |

SOPM
already had comprehensive occupational health, safety
and environmental management procedures and policy in
place before the implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS
18001 management systems. Besides reviewing and improving
work procedures and targets regularly, frequent training
is conducted to raise employees' awareness of environmental,
occupational health and safety as well as quality management
issues. The company has also been implementing Total
Quality Management (TQM) since 1993 and was awarded
ISO 9002 Quality Management System certification in
2000 by the HKQAA.
SOPM, a
wholly owned subsidiary of the Shui On Group, has long
been an approved property management agent on the lists
of the Government Property Agency and the Housing Authority,
specialising in the management and maintenance of residential
and commercial premises. The company is also equipped
with a security licence which allows it to provide security
work under the Security and Guarding Services Ordinance.
