Besides constantly
reviewing work procedures and methods, Shui On conducts frequent training and promotions
to raise employees' awareness of occupational health and safety issues and build a strong
safety-conscious culture among its workers and subcontractors. Shui On has won numerous
site safety awards over the years. Most recently, the company received the Gold Awards in
Building Sites - for both of the Public and Private Sectors - as well as a number of other
awards in the first "Safety Award Scheme on Good Housekeeping for the Construction
Industry" in 2000.

subsidiaries of the publicly listed Shui On Construction and Materials Limited. SOBC and

Limited have become the first two construction companies awarded the Occupational Health
and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) 18001 certification in Hong Kong by the Hong Kong
Quality Assurance Agency.
